MY BEST FRIEND AND ME. This is my Mom and Me. She was and is my best friend. We had at least one day of every week that was ours. Just the two of us. We would either go shopping, or spend the day just talking. But our best thing to do was BINGO almost every week. We would kiss Daddy goodbye, Tell him to wish us good luck and we would take off. We never won anything big,but we were together. And that's what mattered-spending time together. No one can prepare themselves for when a loved one leaves. I thought I was, because she had been getting worse for about three months, so I tried to prepare myself. Never isn't a word we really understand, Until a loved one passes. Then we realize what never really means, and it hurts. There isn't a day that I don't think of Her. And miss her more then words could say, I miss our talks, I miss just being able to see Her. I miss the smell of Her perfume, I miss Her smile. I miss my Mom.
This is a Picture of My Mom and Me. She seems to be wiping something from my mouth. It was taken in Chicago, on January 1944. There's nothing like a Mothers Love.
