The next few pages will be my attempt to tell his story. In the Military He's called Sir, Others call Him Charlie. Family and close Friends call Him Chip. Chip was born on January 9th, 1963. He is his Father's and My only Son. He has two younger Sisters, Leslie and Melissa. They were very close growing up in a small Southern Indiana Town. Chip graduated from high school in May, 1981. After a few months of being free from school, He and some of his friends decided to enlist in the Marines. After they got there, only one joined. It wasn't My Son. :) A few months later he makes up his mind. I'M GOING TO JOIN THE NAVY! And He Did. He left Home on September 15th, 1982, and went to the recruit training center in Orlando Florida. This is where My next page begins. I will try to take you through His next Twenty Two years in the Navy, Starting with Basic training, till today.
